Visit the Innovation Expo to see kids of all ages engaged in Robotics, Esports, and STEAM Activities, alongside high school student projects submitted during this years various Entrepreneurship competitions.

This past school year DeKalb Central Schools engaged primary elementary students in STEAM activities as part of an extracurricular club. Students utilized the design process to explore circuits, create kazoos, build bridges and rafts, code robots, and build homes bees. Stop by to speak with STEAM Team Advisor, Jaimi Chorpinning, about her experience!

Robotics teams were also brought back this year, and DeKalb Central had elementary, middle, and high school teams competing this season! Drop by to learn more from Elementary Robotics Coach, Shannon Buchs, about robotics.

Esports at DeKalb High School continued to compete this year in Super Smash Bros, Overwatch, and League of Legends. Stop by to talk to Tony Miller, High School Esports Coach, about the educational benefit of running an Esports team!

Stop by and speak to DHS Business Teacher, Ashley Johnson, about her Entrepreneurship course where students develop business ideas and submit to various competitions and see them come to fruition.
